The company is a well-established accountancy firm based in Lancaster, providing accounting services to 2,800+ clients via cloud accounting software. The company offer a high-quality service in Bookkeeping, Accounts, Payroll, VAT Returns and Tax Services as well as offering a wealth of knowledge and advice.  ICS Accounting is located just off the M6 at Junction 34, making it an ideal location for commuting, including from Preston, Blackpool, or Kendal.

Position Summary

This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious individual who is customer focused with strong communication skills and a passion for sales. The role will be a dual role completion of sales calls to new and existing clients and administration support to the new business team. Tasks will include answering queries, completion of sales calls, adding data to payroll and CRM software, producing contracts, building client relationships, and providing an all-round service going above and beyond for clients.

Responsibilities & Duties

Responding to customer enquiries by email and over the phone
Input data onto CRM data and ensure it is up to date and accurate
Call recruitment agencies to generate sales opportunities
Where appropriate, attend sales meetings
Providing the New Business Team with administrative support
Maintain relationships with clients through regular calls
Call businesses to sell relevant accountancy solutions
Lead conversion
Call existing customers to upsell them to additional products and services
Plan and execute sales activity with the Senior New Business Consultant
Input data on to payroll system

Essential Qualifications and Skills

Strong administration skills are essential
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Attention to detail
Be motivated by developing new business relationships and demonstrating exemplary customer service
IT Skills with competent use of word and excel
Ability to build good internal and external relationships
Excellent timekeeping and management ability with the ability to prioritise workload
To be able to work to individual and team targets
Ability to work in a fast-paced role

Desirable Qualifications and Skills

Experience in a sales administration role
Knowledge and previous experience of CRM systems, including Salesforce
Understanding of sales metrics and processes
Experience in recruitment or finance industries
Experience with CRM systems
Previous sales experience
